Organization Structure & Responsibilities

I.               Organizational Structure
    Our District Office is headed by a Director and a Secretary General, and has a total of 67 employees. Responsibilities are divided between the Civil Affairs Section, Social Affairs Section, Economic Development Section, General Affairs Section, Humanities Section, Personnel Office, Accounting Office, and Civic Service Ethics Office. The District Office also has a Mediation Committee.
 
II.               Scopes of Responsibilities
Civil Affairs Section: Autonomous Administration; Land Administration; Education; Environment Protection; Sanitation and Hygiene; Etiquette, Customs and Religion; Documentation; Festivals; Elections; Mediation Services; Indigenous Peoples Affairs; Acquisition; Reservist Management; Group Training; Military Affairs, and other related issues.
Social Affairs Section: Social Welfare; Social Relief and Aid; National Health Insurance (NHI); Laborer Related Issues; and other related issues.
Economic Development Section: Agriculture and Forestry; Food Production Policies; Fishery and Husbandry; Assist in Tax Collection; and other production and infrastructure related issues.
General Affairs Section: Documents; Archives; General Affairs; Cashier; Property Management; Official Seals; Transfers; Research and Evaluation; Public Assistance; Legal Affairs; and affairs which are not processed by other sections.
Humanities Section: Library Management; Education; Physical Education; Culture and Arts; Community Arts and Culture; Celebrations and Festivities; Historical Documents and Records; Tourism and Publicity; and other related issues.
Personnel Office: Organizational Structure; Hiring and Promotions; Function and Responsibility Categorization; Examination and Assignment; Rewards, Punishments and Evaluations; Staff Training and Activities; Staff Performance and Attendance; Pension and Benefits Administration; Lay-offs.
Accounting Office: Annual Accounting; Accounting and Statistics.

Civic Service Ethics Office: 1. Execute the “National Integrity Building Action Plan”; 2. Promote anti-corruption and register Integrity and Ethics Directions for Civil Servants; 3. Handle illegal/corruption reports; 4. Maintain organizational classified information safety and facility equipment safety, audit information and data; 5. Handle public servant property reports, reviews and viewing.
